Our Vision

How we can help

Some of the most challenging adventures in life are those that do not come with a roadmap! At Tailored Care, our vision is to help navigate those difficult journeys. We serve each of our clients like they are family. Our staff has worked along side countless clients and families in the Spokane and North Idaho area over the last 25 years. We bring our expertise and compassion to every family with our geriatric care management, sharing our knowledge and providing you the tools to make the best decisions for your long term care plan.

With a strong background in care planning for older adults, we hope to fill the gaps between independence, in home care, placement, and long distance families or over burdened unpaid family caregivers. We are here to help with those difficult conversations and lend our years of experience and education to help form a plan that allows for dignity and care of those we love.

How we can help

How Tailored Care can help:

Guidance and advocacy for clients and their families.
Evaluate care needs, recommend care, assistive devices.
Coordination with other healthcare providers through care management.
Referrals for other professional services or products that will enhance the quality of life.
Conduct home visits
Assist with VA benefits and long term care insurance.
Provide social and emotional support.
Assist in managing the household including reviewing mail, ordering or getting groceries, calling in medication refills, scheduling medical appointments, and arranging transportation.
Support family caregivers
Personalized tasks agreed upon with clients and their families
State assessments for placement in assisted living environments.
With a goal of making care management affordable to all, we offer monthly packages with weekly visits and a free initial assessment for $600 a month. Assessments are $400 each.

Jen Taylor BSW MGH CGCM

Katie has her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and is a Certified Geriatric Care Professional. She possesses a strong background in Geriatric Care Management, extensive knowledge of community resources, and is a Washington State Assessor. She began her career 20 years ago as a CNA and has continued to be passionate serving seniors ever since.

Jen Taylor BSW MGH CGCM

Jen has worked with Spokane's Older Adults for the last 26 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Aging, a Master's Degree in Geriatric Health Care and is a nationally Certified Geriatric Care Manager. She started in home care in 1998 as a caregiver and within a year moved to a position where she assessed and managed clients on a daily basis. She continued with this focus until 2023, when Tailored Care was created.
